Imaginary Numbers on the 89
Hi. Before you start, no, I don't need to know how to get the 89 to give me
3i when I input sqrt(-9). I figured that out by messing with the mode.
What I'm wondering is, is it possible for the 89 to show imaginary numbers
when factoring? For instance, factoring (49x^2 + 9) should give me (7x +
3i)(7x - 3i). Yet, when I do it on the calc, it gives me what I entered
(49x^2 + 9).
Thanks.
