i would suggest that you not try to do this.
i was going to try it on my 86.
i had everything taken apart but i just didn't feel confident with peeling
that backing of the lcd to put the plexiglass in. it's just too much risk.
for the 92 i've read several places that there is no way to remove the
backing from of the lcd. the page that started the backlight. (richfiles?)
says that there is no safe way to do this with a 92.
