Bear with me here...
I've been trying to figure out how to send .83p files, and it isn't
going real well. I'm out of ideas. First I went into the TI software
and made a real simple file, saved it, then went to the mail. Then I
tried to send myself the file through the email and open it. When
composing my message to myself, I first clicked on 'attachments' then
found and clicked the .83p file. Then I selected the 'send as is'
button and I selected to send as a file (versus a link). After
receiving my file, however, I could not get it open. On the email
screen all it showed was two stars, 'TI-83', two more stars, and a
little box. What is that trying to tell me, anyway? So then I tried to
get into the TI software and open the file from there. However, I could
not find any files under the Netscape\mail directory. Just what do I
have to do to view the file? Also, does the file HAVE to be compressed,
like a zip file, before you send it? Or is this just to speed things
up?
