What? The TI-86 is hardly new, it's been out for almost two years. I haven't seen mine act unstable either, unless you count assembly programs causing crashes, which can happen on any calculator. The TI-86 is better than the TI-83 any day. > If you are planning to get a stable calculator get anything except >ti-86. Ti-86 is still knew and it's still being fixed for better use.
