I'm not (yet) a teacher, but I wouldn't care; notes are notes are notes.
I have a PDA that I occasionally use for notes in seminars and so on; I
haven't got a TI-92 and using an alphabetic keyboard isn't nearly as quick
as Qwerty, so I don't use the calc. for notes.
On the other hand, I might raise an eyebrow in high school where it would
pretty geeky, imho. (not that I'm not a geek)
