Calculus Problem...
Okay, this time I have even stumped my math teacher for 3 days with this
Calculus problem. I don't know how in the world to work this one:
Solve the differential:
dy/dx = (x^2 + y^2)/(2xy)
My math teacher thinks some trick is being used since you will notice the
2xy in the denominator. Said to try something like:
dy/dx = (x^2 + 2xy + y^2 - 2xy)/(2xy)
dy/dx = ((x + y)^2 - 2xy)/(2xy)
However, that still doesn't get rid of the y in the numerator. Am I
missing something?
Thanks for any help that you may provide!
