Thats about the gist of it. Keep in mind that changing the addresses
often changes the port to a different number (like from COM1 to COM2,
etc.) Also, Windows sometimes doesn't list all conflicts in the box
involving IRQs, probably because it thinks that the devices can share,
but isn't always correct.
Also, by selecting "Computer" in system devices, and clicking
"Properties", a nice readout of what is using what IRQ can be obtained.
