TI82 assembly:Getting started
I don't have time to read this group for an FAQ, so please bear with me. I
would like to know where I could find information on the Z80 instruction set
and a listing of the ROM entry points for a TI82 with a ROM version of 19. I
all ready know how to program the old Apple II family of computers in
assembly, (6502, 65C02, and 65C816 microprocessors) so I have the basic
concepts of assembly language. I just have no knowledge of the Z80, or TI-82
ROM.
I am not the best assembly language programmer in the world, but I only want
to do some symbolic manipulation the TI-82 to help me in Calculus. I could
write an assembly language program to do this on the Apple II, but it
wouldn't help me on tests, and if I were to use the Apple II, I'd use
AppleSoft BASIC. The TI-82 doesn't have strings, and the LEFT$, RIGHT$, and
MID$ functions.
