Hi all, new to the list...but have a question.

Lately, I can't seem to get my Ti-92 to link..either with my TI-85 with a 92 send programme or with my home made parallel link. It worked before..but quit the other day. I'm afraid I've broken the link port. Even when I try to send something with no cable attached,I get the link transmission error. My parallel cable works fine with my Ti-85, but nada with my 92. I tried resetting it..wiggling the plug a little bit (not too much), but no joy. I tried new batteries, nothing. The only glimmer of hope I've got is that when I plug the link in from the computer when the calc is off, the power comes on (which tells me that the plug probably isn't PHYSICALLy messed up..I think) but I'm still not sure what to do. Anyone else have this problem? Or any suggestions as to how to deal with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
