Well, yes and no........  For the things like slope and midpoint, yes, you can
do it in your head pretty fast.  But when they start giving me four vertices
and asking if it's a parallelogram, rect, sq, rhombus, or trapezoid, or none,
I prefer to run the program Quad (Beta) of my own design.  It performs various
dist, midpoint, slope, etc calculations in a few seconds time and tells you
what types of figures apply.  In keeping you from graphing and performing over
12 equations which could take several minutes, I think a program similar to
what is described above could be very useful in the testing environment.

P.S.  As soon as I'm sure it has no algorithm mistakes, I releasing it for the
TI-86.
