My wife's TI-83 has just developed an odd horizontal line, some sort of video
corruption like I have seen once or twice on laptop computers. It's about
midway down, and appears as a dark line from left edge to right edge, as if
those LCD locations, or whatever you call them, are permanently turned ON.
Any ideas? She's tried the basic RESET memory and defaults sequences. Is this
a TI hardware problem? The unit seems to work otherwise.
