I heard once that the only real ROM on the calculator is the part that
accepts the ROM flash. Since that makes perfect sense, I decided it is
likely true. How the flash works exactly, I don't know because I haven't
seen it done. However, I must believe that TI would set it up so that
this is possible.
If the calc is locked up, then you just pull the batteries to reset the
memory before doing the Flash. I mean, that only makes sense, right?
