clear confusion
Just so everyone can get it straight.. I've been finding out what's
different about the TI-89 and TI-92 Plus. The answer to that question
is absolutely nothing but the size, qwerty keyboard and geometry. Each
of which the TI-92 Plus has but the 89 doesn't. Every other aspect of
the two calculators will be EXACTLY the same. So everyone out there
trying to decide on buying TI-89 or TI-92 Plus only have to compare
size, qwerty keyboard, geometry, and price. If you already have the
TI-92, then the Plus module will cost appr. $80 if you don't have the
TI-92 then you will NOT be able to buy one with the Plus module already
installed, so your price is appr. $150 to $200 for calculator + $80 for
Plus module. The TI-89 will be appr. $150.
Oh yeah.. The 92 uses AA batteries while the 89 uses AAA... so if it
matters you can factor that into your decision. :-)
