This morning I tried to transfer some programs from my computer to my
calculator(TI-86).  Every time I tried to transfer, it would start and
then the calculator would come up with and error 38(links transmission
error).  I checked the cable and then tried to transfer the same file to
my sister's calculator(also an 86) and everything worked fine.  I tried
mine again and the same error occured.  I then took out the four
batteries and the backup waited for about five minutes, then tried
again.  Once again, I got an error 38.  Does anyone know why this is
happening or has anyone else had similar problems?
