Chris,
Usually it means that you have to input a pcx file and the program outputs an asm file with the same name but a different extension. For example, if your pcx file was "loader.pcx" you would type "Pic83 loader.pcx" and hit enter, then the program would create "loader.asm". Most dos assemblers work that way. If you try it and it still doesn't work, then leave the ".pcx" off. I hope this helps.
