I still don't understand.  What do you mean "solve".  & an which calculator?

In the 2nd equation, does "sinx-2" mean "(sin(x))-2)" or "sin(x-2)"  etc

My tutees' problems are usually a failure to use enough parentheses to MAKE
the calculator do what YOU intend.  This follows from a lack of expertise with
the calculator's EOS.
