My reply was in relation to the TI-86, of which CAL nor WTran8x can save
backups from this calculator. I have successfully linked to the TI-82,
83, and 85 calculators, as well as sent and received backups without too
much difficulty. Because of the rather large memory of the TI-86, the
backup specifications for the other calculators are not compatible with
it.
