I am trying to do a Romdump from
my Ti-92 to my Win95 machine.
I have installed the new Fargo 2.0,
and using the Ti graph-link cable,
I am running the text romdump program that
came with fargo (romdump2.92p)
to dump the rom thru my serial port onto
hyperterminal and then onto
a text in my computers hard disk.
The problem is that the resulting
rom file
(after running romconv.exe, which
comes with tiger)
isnt exactly 1Mb in size (I have Ver1.4 Rom on Ti-92)
and this is preventing tiger
from running.
I have tried a number of times, and am beginning
to think that the settings Ive chosen
for hyperterm may be no-good.
I believe there must be no error checking
on the downlink.
Has anyone experienced similar problems,
and if so, how did you
overcome them?
Thanks in advance,
Otto
