 I recently purchased your Graph-link cable without the software, I
had already downloaded it from your site.  I attached the cable and
from the start I received "Transmission errors".  I read all of the
tips on how to fix any possible problems from your page, yet I have
had no success.  My computer has an internal modem on Com 2, and an
external port on Com 2.  My operating system is Windows '98, Pentium
II-266 with 64meg of SDRAM.  Yes, I did download the 82 software, and
I have investigated every possible conflict problem. Any suggestions?

Do I need to add another com port.
