TI-89/92+ Math (gasp!) question
Yes, I know it's scandalous, but I'm actually looking for info on
using the 92/89/92+ for math stuff! As everyone who owns one of these
little gems knows, they'll do all sorts of complex equations and give
you the answers in nice, detailed 2x^2/4 sort of way instead of 2.54523
like the older TIs. That's very nice, I appreciate it. However, with
no explanation of how it got that answer, it doesn't help me learn very
much. So I am curious, does the Advanced Mathematics Software in the
89/92+ have any provision to detail how the calculator is reaching its
conclusion? It's confusing sometimes, since the calculator tends to
keep simplifying down the answer to the point where it bears no
resemblance to the answer that I'd come up with. And if the calculator
software can't do such things, has anyone written any programs that do?

"Who are you voting for in the 2000 elections?"
"Prophecy says that in 2000, a beast shall come forth from the sea and
its countenance shall be foul as that of dragons and upon its brow
shall be the name of blasphemy. I'm voting for that fuckin' bad boy."
