I tried this on a TI-92, and also got zero for values of t not near 0.
The 92 also spewed several "overflow replaced by infinity" and "questionable
accuracy" errors in doing this. Have you looked at the graph of
y=e^(-.5x^2) ? It looks pretty damn close to zero to me.
