Well, it's definitely not the exact same thing as significant digits, but
I suppose that you could just put the calc into fixed decimal mode rather
than floating and force it to show say 4 decimals. Rules for significant
digits are kind of odd and could easily change from calculation to
calculation, but using a fixed number of decimals would at least trim down
the number of digits you're seeing.
