The Table function just shows you a table for whatever formulas the Graph
function would graph. To get a table, hit [GRAPH], then go to y(x)= menu.
Enter the equation(s) you want to see, then exit. Press the [TABLE] button
(right next to [GRAPH]) - it'll give you two menu options: Table and TblSt.
TblSt lets you adjust the starting number for the table and the amount
each entry in the X column differs from the previons one. The TABLE menu
option shows you the table.
As for the identity problem, a table should be able to tell you that as
well as or better than a graph could.
