Re: TI 82/85 question..
Manual conversion is required. Although there is a utility that changes some
commands automatically, it still requires somebody to check the program
afterwards. The converter should be familiar with both calculators. Two big
differences I can think of are that the equal sign on the TI-82 for testing
equality should be replaced with a double equal sign (==) on the TI-85, and on
the TI-85, implied multiplication cannot be performed by combining two
variables names (such as AB), as it can on the TI-82. AB would be interpreted
as a single variable on the TI-85. There are many smaller differences; too
many to list here.

Subject: TI 82/85 question..
Will programs for a TI82 run on an 85? Is there some conversion
required? If so, what?
