The TI-86 has more RAM than the Z80 processor can have accessible all at once
(the TI-85 does not). Only 32K at a time is accessible. To access another
part, the calculator has to switch the RAM page. For this reason, the TI-86's
memory management is much more complicated and slows down the system a little.

I just got an 86 and noticed it runs programs significantly slower than
the 85. Why??? It has the same processor. Is there anything I can do to
correct this?
