I haven't tried this but...
Here is the problem:
SPEAKER---->3.5mm plug            2.5mm socket <-- CALC
Buy a 3.5mm socket and a 2.5mm plug/socket (depending on if you
use your calc-to-calc lead)

ust "wire" them together.
