Well actually, as the TI-83 and other TI Calcs run on a Z-80 processor,
they do have a standardised pulse, as the the processor must recieve
pulses for it to operate, in the TI 83's case it is a 6Mhz pulse. The
only problem is, this probably can't be used in a program as it is not
'acessable' via a program, so a real time clock would be quite difficult,
although useful.
