no, there is no quartz or anything similar in the calc to send out a
standardized pulse to keep track of.  Also, when the calculator is off,
it only send power to the memory, so there is no way to make any
program, assembly or not, run when the calculator is off.  Password
protectors are not really running when the calc is off, they are
"dormant" and the calc picks up where it was before when the calc is
turned on.
