Differences between 83 & 86 ASM
I've just recently purchased TI-86 and thought it would be interesting
if I could find some documentation on 86 ASM over the web. I did find
some very basic tutorials that covered ASM concepts in general. I
guess one question in my mind that has gone unanswered is this: I
know that 85 ASM is very different from 86 ASM...but since both the 83
and 86 carry the same type of ASM support (no need for shell) how
similar or different are 86 and 83 ASM? If there are some
similarities, could anyone possibly point me to some 83 tutorials that
would give me some key concepts so those of us dying to learn this
stuff on our 86 won't have to wait till someone writes a comprehensive
ASM-86 journal?
