UNLESS the author provides limits on this, which you may see in some
shareware.

"This file may not be distributed for profit without consent"
"This file may not be distributed on a CD ROM compilation without author's
consent" (I've seen this quite a bit)

Or even sometimes a limit to the profit made is mentioned.  I've never seen
such a thing on a TI program, but on other things I have.  I also know a
bit about this because I have delt with people illegally distributing my
software and other general nonsense.
