A Faster Math Shell
Is there anyway to create an OS that works on the basic principle of
ZShell that would somehow approximate the variable manipulation of the
92. Maybe it could do fractals, 3-d graphing, or other complicated
calculus problems quicker than the 85 can do them with a basic program.
It just seems that there has to be some way to improve on the 85
especially considering the things that can be done with ZShell and
similiar ASM shells. Is it just a matter of not having people to program
them? Anyway, I would think that some ZShell programs for math would be
extremely helpful and utilitarian. A quick side note, does anyone know
how the derivatives are plotted on the TI-85, i.e. y1=x^3-3;
y2=der1(y1,x). Sometimes, this seems to work fine, but other times the
graph of the derivative seems questionable.
thanks,
michael
