I've never used the 3D graphing for math, but here are some fun things you
can do with it: Create animations by storing 10 or so pics from different
angles or views, and animating them with the cyc() function. Put the calc
in left-right split screen mode, enable 2-graph mode, and make two graphs
of the same function, except one of them is rotated a few more degrees than
the other. Then, view them like a stereogram, and it appears in true 3D!!
(Cross your eyes so the two images blend together and appear as one.)
