1) take out your batteries, all of em, leave em out for 5 minutes. Just to
be sure :-)
2) hit ON.
 IF you see something at this point, yer fine. if not...
3) hit [2ND].
4) hit, and DO NOT LET GO, of the Up key. Your screen should
 fade into view :-0.
