I strongly recommend the 86, but you can see for yourself. At my web site (URL
shown below in signature) and at the TI-Files, there are detailed feature
comparisons of the TI-83, 85, and 92. (For the TI-86, just read the 85 doc and
find out more at http://www.ti.com). A TI-86 feature list document is
currently being written and should be available soon.

As a high school student going into Algebra II and Calculus later on.
I am curious as to which calculator is better for my needs, the 83 or
86. I have been pricing them both and looked upon the different
discussions, but as am yet undecided. I would appreciate some help in
this decision. Thanks in advance.
