Re: TI-92's on sale...
Ray,
The TI-86 retains all the power and funcionality of the TI-85 with major
new enhancements, including differential equations and 128K RAM with 96K
user-available memory. New high-contrast dispaly, seven graph styles,
new equation solver, list and matrix editor improvements. Like the TI-83,
it has interactive graphing, key-in specific value feature, function
evaluation table, expanded list capabilities, matrix editor, stats and
stats plot. Much more.
I have been able to link the 86 to the 85 and transfer all data from an
85 to an 86. AND ALL THE PROGRAMS WORKED. I also have transferred
numeric data types from the 86 to the 85 (lists, matrices, variable names).
Important for classroom use, the 86 uses the same ViewScreen as the 86.
However, there is the need for new link software which should be available
for download from the TI web page. (Soon maybe.)
Ben

Will the TI-86 have all the updates of the TI-83, plus what the old TI-85
had???
