Has anyone tried them both? How do they match up?

I have ROM 18, so I can't try Ash. Is it safe to delete basic variables in
Ash? OShell says it will crash if you delete Q.

If there is no way around that, a program to go through your TI-BASIC programs
and substitute Q for an unused letter variable would be useful. Especially for
edit-locked programs.
