why asm is better:
 * faster
 * smaller
 * interrupts
 * no silly variables to clean up afterwards

disadvantages:
 * you can crash your calc
 * a little bit harder to write
 * lacking advanced math routines (unless you write them)

i'm sure someone could write a list at least 10 times longer than that,
but that's most of the major points.
