I am considering purchasing the TI-86 for a class where the
instructor and most students will be using 83s. Will I, as a new
user, be at a disadvantage? Or are the MOs of the two machines
similar enough that the differences wont be noticeable? Thanks
for your opinion. By the way, they are available here in a local
Walmart for $120.
