I just ran my TI-83 with 3 batteries and one solar panel.  Of would have
used all solar panels except for the fact that I don't have any more.  The
calculator runs perfectly well.  It will run outside (when its sunny of
course) and inside if I shine a flashlight at it or put it near a lamp.
It is really cool.  One I get three more solar panels I'll be able to run
my whole calculator off of the sun.  Kind of reduces battery cost : )  If
