Re: history, sigs, unix, rhapsody.....

You all are leaving out quality OSs like Linux. Linux RARELY crashes and
it's programs are extremely stable...I have never had problems with Red Hat.
I may be wrong but there are calc related progs ported to linux...(I'm not
sure about this because I use win95 to do calc stuff)

I don't really care about the past.... what matters is today. Let's
face it. Windows 95 sucks, but so does Macintosh. I only use Win 95
because most of the software I want to run requires it. However, I also
like the challenge of configuring my computer. A macintosh is great if you
want an easy interface, and a simple computer. A DOS/WINDOWS PC is good if
you have a little knowledge, and want to have more control over what your
computer is doing, as well as a whole lot of software, such as compilers for
Fargo, which isn't available on the MAC!!! (see, this is calculator related
:) ) So, please take any flames to private E-mail:

YOU ARE SO WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG

The vi editor was written by Bill Joy (a key player in much computer
innovation - is he still with Sun?) when he was part of the staff at the
Computer Systems Research Group at the University of California at
Berkeley. How about you all just shut up since you're just flaming each
other and most of the garbage that you're spouting (besides being more or
less purely subjective in nature) is dead wrong.

However, I feel obliged to point out the undeniable truth that Macintosh
computers have and always will be vastly superior to anything else anywhere.

Macs forever rule,
