ticalc.org Re-Release Party!
First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who's supported the ticalc.org
project and its cause, and to apologize to everyone who pronounced us dead
while we went through hardware trouble and disrepair. It's true that the
ticalc.org you see today lacks the cutting-edge news and content our
visitors came to expect during the site's prime.
However, we are pleased to announce that the entire site has been
overhauled from the ground up, and after spending the next week adding the
finishing touches, we will unveil the NEW ticalc.org on Friday, July 25th,
including a live "re-release party" on Internet Relay Chat preceding the
opening.
Everyone interested is invited to join us starting at 17:00 GMT (12:00 noon
US eastern time) in IRC channel #calc-ti. We will take the present web
site off-line at that time and go live at 17:30 GMT with the new web site.
During that time, ticalc.org staff members will be on hand in the channel
to discuss the new features our site will soon offer.
Once again, thanks to all of our loyal visitors. We have promised in the
past that our site would return to its prior prestige, and we are at the
eve of delivering what we feel is the best possible TI site on the net. We
hope you'll be able to join us as we make the switch.

P.S. - After the opening of the new site, another message will be posted to
the Calc-TI mailing list with information about the new site for those who
missed the IRC session. We will also make a transcript of the event
available on the web site.
