Also also aware that you MUST NOT USE TEST PROGRAMS UNDER WINDOWS.
windows sends "wrong" singnals. And the link will report failure.

I agree in not using the 2.5mm plug. The socket is better, unless you
want to sacrifice your calc-calc cable.(Mine was broken anway...)
