Re: TI-85
I am no techno historian but I believe the TI graphing calcs were
introduced in this order
TI-812
TI-85
TI-82
TI-81
TI-92
TI-83
TI-85
The TI-82 and TI-83 are cousins of each other as are the TI-85 and
TI-86. In both of those cases buy the higher number. The TI-81 is not
being made. I hardly have ever seen a TI-80, it may be the collectors
calc of next decade. The TI-82 and TI-85 are both appearing in fresh
bubble packs at Walmart so they are still being made for some reason or
other. The real choices are between the TI-83, TI-86 and TI-92. That
choice is sort of like between a minvan, stick shift 4x4 pickup and a
semi. It all depends on where you want to go and who you are traveling
with.
