I have the TI-92 II. It comes with ROM 2.1 and 256Kb mem *total*,
with 200Kb free when reset'd.

The upgrades are, despite the obvious market for them, not available
in the US. Call TI and say that you want it...

Their reason is that they think the most important thing about the
upgrade is multilinguality. But since the old version already has
english... well, you see how they "think".
