Aside from wasting bandwidth there (a simple LINK to one of the many
places that has VBRUN100.DLL would have been better, no? aside from
forcing various people to download the whole bloody thing, it wasted
space on the listserv.

Furthermore, What do you think the point was in separate static parts?
Not to make life hard. The whole idea of p-code (if you are a
programmer and involved in writing compilers/interpreters, you know
what that means. in short, take QB. strip out the editor bits.
compress and encode the source. attach it to this stripped-down
version of QB.EXE. voila. a 'compiler'. Not really. just a disguised
interpeter. that is p-code.) this stripped down stuff, which is the
DLL, is delivered separately to avoid you from download kilotons
EVERYTIME you get an app.

If you don't understand that, keep in mind that some poeple do. Do
some research, think, and count to 10 before you post, please.
