Program for pix in text...

I remember seeing a few notes on an idea for writing a program that would
take a picture that was coverted to text form and convert it back to a
picture on the calc. It was supposed to be for those people that don't have
a link, so that they could download games and other programs that contained
pictures. Has anyone gotten to work on such a program??
