Yes, it is. I've also been able to download progs from my PC to my 82
and
them from the 82 to an 83. Trouble is, the 83 isn't FULLY compatible
with
82 programs. Big programs will get memory errors as the 83 has about 1K
less available RAM than the 82 does, and the 83 also interprets programs
slightly different than in the 82. It should tell you that in the
manual,
though.
