I snagged DOOMBETA.UUE from ticalc.org's archives yesterday, and it is
(with apologies to whoever wrote it) horrible! I wasn't expecting
anything great or anything like that, but it's really just a waste of
good RAM. Perhaps if they would have done it in ZShell instead of
TI-BASIC, it might have been better.
IMHO, if you want games, stick to the ones done in ZShell!
