My ROM 1.4 still gives me errors for incorrectly matched parentheses Which version are you using?

After installing Fargo, I found that trying to enter a line with
incorrectly matched parentheses wouldn't give an error like I used to.
Instead, it just would register the [enter] until the problem was fixed.
For example
cos(120
used to give an error, but under Fargo just ignores any attempt to compute
the answer.
Is this intentional?
