TI Link

Has anyone gotten a $4 link to work. I built one. It seems to work,
the little LED comes on and stuff, but the program wont work right,
and when the link is hoked to my calc and the com port, the calc slows
way down, and I can't do anything. Once I was able to hit send on the
calc and recieve on the program, and I got errors both ways. Any help
would be apreciated.

p.s. I was also wondering if anyone has any more info on any of the
TI-82 bugs or ASM.
